Shri Manoj Bhai Shah and Smt. Ritaben Shah have started “Chintamani Education and Charitable Trust” in 2004 and administering various programs successfully under its auspices for last sixteen years. The trust’s basic aim is to help many women and adolescent girls who have not been able to access formal educational opportunities due to barriers posed by their circumstances. The trust reaches out to such women across Gujarat by offering varied certificate and diploma courses in the area of childhood education. These empower women to become financially independent, develop variety of skills and gain confidence to take up positions as educators of young children or start their own enterprise. The trust is attempting to impact children’s development positively through teachers trained by them and also reaching out to children directly through workshops and Melas.

I have been associated with them as a resource person, judge and guest during some programs and what has impressed me is their commitment to reach out with inclusiveness to unreached groups and geographical locations, adaptability and flexibility in programme approach, interest in innovations and enthusiasm for new initiatives. Even during this pandemic, they are trying to reach out through on-line platforms and conducting programs to reach their goals.

બાળકો નાં રસ રુચિ જાણી ને શિક્ષણ કેવી રીતે આપવું એ માટે સર્જનાત્મક અને રચનાત્મક કાર્યો નું આયોજન કરવુ, બાળકોના શારીરિક,માનસિક, બૌધ્ધિક અને સામાજિક વિકાસ માટે વિવિધ પ્રકાર ની રમતો, બાળવાર્તા તથા બાળગીતો નાં વર્કશોપ , પપેટ્સ શો, બાળમેળ।ઓ વગેરે નું વૈવિધ્યસભર આયોજન કરી માર્ગદર્શન પુરૂ પાડીને તેઓ ને સક્ષમ બનાવે છે એટલુજ નહી વિવિધ સંસ્થાઓ , એનજીઓ સાથે તાલમેલ કરી ઉજ્જવળ કારકીર્દી માટે સતત પ્રયત્નશીલ રહે છે.

Chintamani Education Centre is one of the oldest centre in Vadodara. From this centre infinite number of teachers completed their course of Montessori and have taken jobs in well established schools in Vadodara. I am very closely attached with Rita Shah the key person of this centre who is the very down to earth personality. She is so dedicated woman who herself fully gets involved with her teachers who comes for training. Along with Montessori training,she also gives full different activity training.Proper exam is being conducted. Teachers are honoured with Montessori Certificate.. My best wishes to Rita Shah for running this centre Successfully.

It was nice being enrolled for a Montessori course with Chintamani education center. The best part of this institution is that everything is taught precisely and step by step. The course is designed keeping in mind child psychology which helps in implementing a strong bond between teacher and a child. It helps in inculcating creativity in a play way manner of learning and also in the molding of the child. All courses are highly relevant to anyone involved in teaching in primary education and looking to enhance their teaching skills, improve student engagement and understand the value of different tools and how to develop child learnings with different tactics. The instructors were experts who explained the clear concept with easy to understand and clear instructions.
